The NFRW will be having the National Board and Legislative Day March 9 thru March 12th, 2011 in Washington DC. Legislative Day is always fun and a great way to visit our Congresswoman and Congressmen in their work setting. We will be meeting in the Capitol and having lunch there. Following the lunch Speaker Boehner has invited us to join him in a group photo.
The Board Meeting will be Fri 11th and Sat 12th. One of items of business will be the election of the nominating committee. I have decided to run for a slot on the committee to represent all of the KFRW members in the selection of our future leaders. The NFRW has over 76,000 members and our leaders of today and tomorrow must be strong and give us a voice in the decisions made. President Sue Lynch has done a wonderful job of this and we must continue her work.
